On this third Sunday of Advent we emphasized the word “JOY” and the Christmas story as recorded in Matthew 1:18-25.
Sermon audio here.
Yesterday was our first LOVE SHIP opportunity. Our first LOVE SHIP event included passing out 288 double-rolls of Scotch tape at various locations around Shippensburg. We included one of our “connection cards” with each of the tape-packs and wished passersby “Merry Christmas”. We’re already brainstorming what our next LOVE SHIP event will look like!
I’ve added here the images that I showed on-screen during the opening illustration regarding the instruction manual for raising children:
Wonderful message Stevan.
Love to all,
Aunt Jean
Aunt Jean! Thanks so much for taking time to listen! Love to you and yours!
Stevan,
What a wonderful daddy you are and a good and patient teacher as well. It’s easy to forget that Ella is only 4 years old because of the way she handles herself when learning something new such as this. She is truly amazing! I think it is so great that she gets a patch and that grandma Sally is sewing it on her Lowes apron. Reminds me of when I was a young girl scout and we earned patches for our vest. What wonderful daddy/daughter memories you are making together. I love Ella’s gobbles! Oh and I love Ella Bella too.
Grandma Lee Ann
oops! I replied on the wrong post. This message goes with Ella’s Lowes video. Um…. and I need now to listen to your sermon.
