Ella, the ‘lil mouse

12.20.2009 — 4 Comments

Today was our Children’s Christmas Program at church. Ella had to wear a mask as she was a “stable mouse”. Adorable as she was as a mouse, I did try and talk her into removing her mask during the performance so that I could get clear video of her face. Apparently she was too much of a professional to do such a thing. The video is still good, though. She’s adorable. There’s even a possible hand-holding event that we had a long discussion about when we got home!

  1. Ahhh, cute, cute cute! Wish we could have been there to see and hear this in person. I would have loved to hear Ella singing Gloria at the top of her lungs like mommy said she has been singing around the house. The only thing I missed was seeing Ella’s big and beautiful blue eyes during this program. She is so expressive with her eyes when she talks, sings or whatever.

Thank you Stevan for sharing this with us all. I really loved watching it.

Give everyone a hug for me.

  2. Ella reminds me of Pinky (and the Brain)… with the evil nose & ear picker on the right. Ha! Oh how fast they grow up and try to rule the world!

  3. WONDERFUL! And even though she had the mask on, we could still see her precious face and enjoyed this immensely!!

Before we watched, as I read out loud, what you wrote first, Ella’s Pappaw Paul laughed and said, “Sally, you need to ask Stevan if he asked ella on the way home, if she knows that boy’s WHOLE NAME”!! While we watched, and Ella kept fumbling with her pretty dress, he Pappaw said, “OH, that is like her Gramma, young Sally Ann Miller”! I was already thinking…”Oh dear poor girl, she has my problem when I was that age and could not let go of my dress when I was up front at church or in school”!

Precious!!! Thanks for doing this! Now what will Ezra be like?!!

  4. that made me laugh so hard… you can’t blame the little guy for noticing a good thing when he sees it though! hahaha… i happened to love her face when she said “i love you too!”
